Cairo east program unit

The meeting was held in one of the internet club as most of the locations in Cairo east area don’t have access to the internet .15 children (males and females)from age group 12-18y was invited from el-moroug , cairo east area . The blog was introduced to the children under the supervision of Plan’s community development facilitator and the children comments were documented by the eldest child in the group

The comments were as following:
It is very painful to watch other children work in difficult circumstances (mines…)
70% of the children in India suffers from hunger
miserable children in war and fights loose their parents and families
children labor is common even in our country , we felt that the problem is not only a local one but it extends to other countries
little children (3-4years old) carrying blocks on there backs
sick girls living in slums ,and difficult circumstances affecting their health

Finally, as we represent the children of Egypt, the blog was a real benefit to us and we are asking all our friends to be introduced to the blog and make our voice reach all the community to take action regarding child abuse
